The role

Orbit are delighted to announce that we are looking to recruit a Programme Lead to work within our Better Days team. This brand-new role will see the Programme Lead be responsible for effective delivery of the Better Days universal offers, by providing operational oversight, project management, research, reporting and monitoring risk and compliance.

Better Days is our free range of support services available exclusively to Orbit’s customers. It’s what differentiates us to other housing providers.

Better Days helps thousands of people every year. Whether it’s supporting customers to manage their money, trying something new in their communities, finding happiness and improvements to their overall wellbeing, getting back into employment, or improving their digital skills.

The role will act as a key point of contact for external partners and internal stakeholder liaising between teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of queries and requests impacting Orbit customers.

What you'll achieve

This role will see the successful candidate leading Better Days programme’s end-to-end, working daily alongside the Better Days Manager providing project management support.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Building strong stakeholder relationships in Orbit to ensure teams are aware of and trained on the universal Better Days offers and referral pathways.
Lead on resolution of customer and partner queries and complaints. Acting as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
Developing Better Days offers through new initiatives and partnerships, optimise existing ones and creating referral pathways with internal departments.
Management of POs and processing invoices in a timely manner against budgets.
Produce reports based on the data provided to the performance and impact team regarding Better Days programmes.
Lead on all Better Days customer communications, including campaigns, social media and webpages

Essential skills

Strong ability to relationship build across multiple stakeholders, geographies, and manage cross sector partnerships.
Ability to write and present reports including performance and impact reports.
A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to engage and work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently and act on initiative where appropriate.
Ability to think strategically and operationally with a high level of attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
Organised and self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure whilst managing and prioritising a varied workload within agreed deadlines.Why Orbit?
