CNC Turner 

Job Role

Our client, a manufacturer of specialist products in Peterborough, currently has an immediate opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team who is currently experiencing a significant level of growth. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a proven history of setting and operating CNC machines.

Job Responsibilities

Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery
Must take responsibility for own high-quality work
Carry out routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
Ability to work from technical Diagrams
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Person Specification

Previous experience in CNC Machining
Program, set and operate the machinery
Knowledge of Siemens or Fanuc programming languages is advantageous
Follow health & safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Good attention to detail required
Ability to read and follow technical drawings

Hours of Work and Pay

7.30 to 4pm (40 Hours per week)
Up to £40k per annum DOE + overtime
