Position: Area Sales Manager – South West Region
Location: South West England, covering Avon, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall (office-based in Plymouth once a month; initial 3-week induction at headquarters)
Salary: Up to £50,000 base, plus OTE 10% commission
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to join a thriving flooring company with a rich history of craftsmanship and a commitment to sustainability. Representing a market-leading product portfolio, you’ll manage relationships with key merchant partners across the South West region, ensuring the delivery of sales targets and fostering exceptional business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cultivate and strengthen relationships with merchant partners, visiting a minimum of five customers per day.
* Drive sales growth, achieving revenue and GP% targets.
* Develop and execute tailored strategies for underperforming accounts.
* Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Deliver impactful presentations and support merchant partners with merchandising and product training.
* Record and manage sales activities through the Salesforce CRM system.
* Collaborate with the Merchant Channel Manager to align on territory strategy and goals.

* Proven track record in merchant sales.
