SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Year 3) – Islington
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? A fantastic primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 3 student who requires support with focus and emotional regulation.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help a student with challenging behaviours stay engaged in their learning by following a structured timetable, implementing calming strategies, and providing encouragement. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to create a positive learning experience.
What We’re Looking For:
• SEN Teaching Assistant experience supporting children with ASD, SEMH, or challenging behaviours
• A calm, patient, and structured approach to help the student stay on task
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team• Relevant qualifications or experience in SEN support
