Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Nottingham team. This role offers a chance to provide electrical and building services engineering expertise on diverse projects, including working closely with MoD contracts. The Role:

Provide technical support and expertise in Electrical and building services engineering

Report to the senior team on progress, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and within budget

Manage and mentor junior staff, offering technical guidance

Engage in feasibility studies, design work, and project management

Meet clients to establish project briefs, budgets, and specifications

Oversee site works, ensure compliance with specifications, and handle contractor final accounts

Support fee invoicing, manage workload, and advise on resources

Pursue marketing opportunities and grow the client base

Requirements:

Degree/Masters in Engineering

Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status

Member of CIBSE or similar professional body

Proven experience managing M&E teams

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Trimble ProDesign

Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and sustainability best practices

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
