Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off

About the Role
Search & Selection UK is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an established and highly regarded organisation with a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for children and young people. We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Team Leader to join their supportive team in a children’s residential home, working with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable young people, helping them to develop resilience, achieve stability, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the residential care team.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with individual care plans and organisational standards.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for the young people to thrive.
* Support the Registered Manager in meeting all regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Lead by example, acting as a positive role model for both the team and the young people.
* Effectively manage shift patterns, ensuring consistency in care delivery.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children and young people with EBD in a residential setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
