gap personnel is recruiting for a talented individual to join our client’s team as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling).

Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday with overtime available

Location: Rayleigh

Pay: £13 - £17 per hour depending on experience 

Type: Permanent 

Duties:

Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines.
Interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
Fit appropriate tools to active machines.
Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories accurately.
Adjust cutting speeds and tolerance levels as needed.
Monitor workflows to meet technical and quality standards.
Operate various industrial machinery including hydraulic presses, guillotines, polishers, grinders, and borers.
Prepare reports and provide updates as required.
Requirements:

Ensure artwork and job instructions meet process requirements.
Work to meet deadlines and customer targets.
Maintain machinery and systems for optimal production.
Produce high-quality products according to departmental specifications.
Identify and report development opportunities.
Analyse root causes and implement problem-solving initiatives.
