Aerospace Operator / Coordinator

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm (flexible 8:30 am start), with an early finish on Fridays – a great way to start the weekend!

* Work from Home: 2 days per week remote work option following a successful probation period.

* Reports to: Aerospace Accounts Team

The Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Aerospace Operator to join their Aerospace Accounts Team at Heathrow. This role is integral to their team, with responsibilities including the management of bookings, preparation of competitive quotations, and support for the growth of their aerospace client base. This is an ideal role for candidates with 2-3 years of experience in logistics, air freight, or related fields who are ready to expand their expertise in a vibrant and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Client and Booking Management: Efficiently manage air and road freight bookings, ensuring all services are delivered on time and to a high standard.

* Quotation and Pricing: Prepare and follow up on client quotations, securing competitive pricing while ensuring clear and proactive communication.

* Operations Support: Collaborate with the wider team to maintain scheduled freight services and provide occasional out-of-hours support as needed.

* Aerospace Growth: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, actively contributing to the aerospace sector’s growth.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years in logistics, air, or road freight; experience in the aerospace or energy sectors is also highly valued.

* Skills: Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.

* Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours shifts to ensure service quality; paid overtime may apply.
