We are recruiting on behalf of a pioneering company seeking a Senior Process Operator to join their pilot plant operations in Teesside. This is a full-time permanent position, starting on day shifts, and offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable metals recovery using cutting-edge polymer-based extraction technology.

Senior Process Operator key responsibilities:

Operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment
Handling hazardous materials safely and effectively
Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Leading and training junior operators
Preparing risk assessments and standard operating procedures Requirements to be a Senior Process Operator:

Significant experience in the chemical industry
Strong background in batch processing, filtration, and handling hazardous materials
Supervisory experience essential
Forklift operation experience
Proven commitment to safety in chemical operations (qualifications desirable)
