Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Recycling Operative to join and strengthen our clients existing team in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Please Note: Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety is essential for this role.

Working as a Recycling Operative, your duties will include:

A key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
Carrying out manual procedures and manual lifting
Packing and repacking batteries sorting by chemistry
Disassembling unit with batteries and preparing the loads for shipment
Preparing trailers including but not limited to pulling open/closing side curtains and fastening/unfastening load-securing straps
Paperwork verification's
Communication with managers, supervisors and stock control team
General warehouse duties and housekeepingWhat to expect from the role?

Monday to Friday, 8am until 4.30pm
