Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to start your career in controls design with a leading company in materials handling? Our Client is seeking a Graduate Automation Design Engineer to join their growing team to help design control systems for cutting-edge industrial machinery.
As a Graduate Automation Design Engineer, you will work with state-of-the-art technology and collaborate with experienced teams to deliver innovative solutions for their worldwide clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design electrical schematics and layouts using EPLAN Electric P8.
* Work with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs (S7, TIA Portal, ControlLogix).
* Select components like relays, power supplies, and circuit breakers.
* Ensure designs comply with international standards (IEC, UL, NFPA).
* Collaborate with senior engineers and production teams.
Requirements:
* BTEC & HNC in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
* Experience in EPLAN-based control panel design for industrial automation (desirable)
* Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell PLC systems (desirable)
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
