E&I Supervisor

Our client is an award winning, family-owned business who have a strong presence in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceutical, flavours and fragrance, personal care and agrochemical to name a few.

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and play a key role in our business. You will provide leadership to the small team of electrical technicians whilst also maintaining and developing our electrical systems.

Key Tasks:

Lead maintenance and planned preventative maintenance activities
Design, specify and install electrical equipment for projects and upgrades
Manage and oversee a team of four electrical technicians and contractor
Act as a Technical Authority on electrical matters, ensuring compliance with ATEX, BS60079 and safety regulations
Liaise with internal teams and external bodies (HSE, EA, suppliers, contractors)
Train and develop electrical personnelSkills and experience:

Min HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Understanding of ATEX and ability to competently specify electrical equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
A flexible, safety-first approach to work
Strong leadership skills
