My client is recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager. They are a leading filter manufacturer for the production and distribution of high-performance hydraulic filters, with a considerable range of filter elements and complete filters. They also have a second division of filters for industrial processes.
Technical Sales Manager Filtration role:
This is a new job opportunity office-based Mon-Fri in Shropshire (hybrid working available for the right candidate). Reporting to the General manager, and operating independently throughout the UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for:
* Develop the customer portfolio in various sectors of activity: specialized hydraulic distributors, original equipment manufacturers or end users.
* Carry out prospecting actions to develop and sustain the activity;
* Present our range of products and their quality;
* Visit potential customers, identify their needs and develop customer relations;
* Negotiate prices while respecting profitability levels;
* Participate in trade fairs to promote products and our brand image;
* Record and report on progress and visits;
To assist with your objectives, you will have a back office in UK and permanent technical support from the Group's headquarters in Italy. Training in my clients methods and products and specific support given.
Technical Sales Manager Filtration requirement:
* Ideally educated to a relevant engineering qualification,
* Proven experience in the field of filtration, ideally with a hydraulic filter manufacturer.
* Excellent technical sales skills and have a good understanding of the UK & Ireland markets and its specifics.
* Proven salesperson, with excellent listening and customer relations skills, know how to identify sales opportunities and conclude transactions.
* You are autonomous, organized, skilled with new technologies and you attach importance to achieving your objectives.
* You are willing to travel frequently throughout the UK & Ireland and hold a valid UK driving license.
Technical Sales Manager Filtration package:
* Salary base of up to £55k dependant on experience
