Site Manager – Thames Water Project
? Location: Within the M25
? Rate: £300 – £350 per day (CIS)
? Duration: 3+ months (Contract until summer’s end, with potential extension)
? Hours: 07:00 – 17:00, with some flexibility
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join a contractor on a key Thames Water project within the M25. The project involves starting roof works for Thames Water on a live Water Treatment site. This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader with a strong understanding of CDM regulations and experience in water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage large civils subcontractor works on-site
*
Provide full-time CDM supervision and ensure strict health & safety compliance
*
Collaborate closely with Project Managers and internal teams
*
Take a proactive, hands-on approach to site tasks when needed
*
Ensure all method statements, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation are in place and followed
*
Enforce site change control procedures and manage subcontractor performance
*
Assist with the preparation and implementation of the Site Health & Safety Plan
Essential Requirements:
*
SMSTS Certification
*
Valid CSCS Card
*
Thames Water Passport (Essential – applications without this will not be considered)
*
Minimum 5 years' experience in the water/wastewater infrastructure sector
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering or structural projects
*
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations
*
First Aid at Work
*
Full UK Driving Licence
