General Production Operative

About Us:
At The Dutch Maid Company Ltd we specialise in blending and packing high quality dried ingredients into customer own brands for the food service and catering industry.

We are currently seeking a full time General Production Operative to join our friendly team, Based in Buxton on the Tongue Lane Industrial Estate.

Duties will include:

* Measuring and classifying all raw materials in preparation for production

* Monitoring the production process

* Feeding the raw materials into the machinery

* Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment and forklift trucks

* Performing quality assurance and testing checks

* Assembling, packing and labelling the finished goods in preparation for shipment

* Cleaning the machinery and other parts of the production space

* Maintaining an inventory of the goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse

* Noting machine faults and reporting to maintenance officers as required

* Maintaining work areas and equipment

* Monitoring product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues

Successful candidates will be:

* Ability to work on a production line

* Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations

* Ability to follow instructions

* Ability to work in a team

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Forklift truck licence an advantage
