As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Night Shift Production Manager/Supervisor to oversee our night shift operations.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Production Manager/Supervisor to manage our night shift team and ensure smooth and efficient production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that quality standards are met, and production schedules are adhered to. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all night shift production activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

· Manage and lead the night shift team, providing direction, support, and performance feedback.

· Ensure that production schedules are met and that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

· Monitor machine performance, addressing any issues that arise to minimise downtime.

· Coordinate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handovers and communication between shifts.

· Implement and maintain safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

· Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

· Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and team attendance.

· Handle any staffing or resource issues that may arise during the shift, including making adjustments to meet production demands.

Key Requirements:

· Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within a CNC machining or precision engineering environment.

· Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

· Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

· Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with other shifts and departments.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

· Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on the shop floor.

· Willingness to work night shifts.
