About the role
This role will be Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 working within our Business & Operations team whilst completing an apprenticeship.
You will be responsible for:
Processing customer bookings and ensuring all details are captured accurately
Coordinating deliveries with the planning teams to ensure efficient transport operations
Monitoring warehouse stock levels to help keep everything running smoothly
Providing excellent customer service, handling queries and resolving issues
Creating warehouse picks and work orders, ensuring correct product allocation
Data inputting and process management to maintain accuracy and order flow
Using DFDS IT systems to manage and track transport orders.
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping clients. You should have a strong desire to learn and develop within the shipping and logistics industry, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A keen interest in shipping, logistics, and transport operations is essential, along with strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
