The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the Reinforced concrete Frames and Structures. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in managing workloads and improving business efficiency. Quantity Surveyor Job Overview

Collaborate with Pre-construction and Construction teams to develop and review tender submissions.
Analyse tender details and work with the team to formulate a suitable bid and procurement strategy.
Source quotes and manage procurement of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Proficient in estimating project costs.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQs) and perform material take-offs.
Present Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) to senior management.
Oversee project cost control and financial management from contract review to final account settlement.
Experienced in working with NEC and JCT contracts.
Handle contractual and legal issues that arise during projects.
Maintain regular client communication to secure future business opportunities.

Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements

Experience 10+years as a QS, with knowledge of Reinforced concrete Frames and Structures.
Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulations.
Proficiency with relevant software tools.
