ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to a healthy forward workload, my client is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join

their Liverpool office team. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work for clients on a variety of projects throughout the UK, spanning retail, residential, commercial, leisure, education and industrial sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with and managing the Civils Team on projects ranging from small one-building projects to large developments, retail/residential projects

• Design of infrastructure for residential, retail, commercial, education, and industrial sectors including Underground drainage systems and roads to adoptable standards.

• Be proficient in the use of relevant technical analysis, design software AutoCAD and Civils 3D.

• Ensure that the quality and consistency of technical output by the team (drawings, reports etc) is

maintained.

• Mentor junior staff

• Attend design meetings, and site meetings and carry out site inspections.

• Liaise professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers and offer advice and guidance on matters relating to their work.

* Work on projects with consideration to the agreed project budgetary limits and timetables.
