This is an excellent opportunity to launch your teaching career. We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Enfield, North London. This role provides hands-on experience, working closely with the Special Educational Needs (SEN) department to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support

Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment.

One-to-One and Group Support

Provide targeted support to students with SEN, both individually and in small groups, helping them overcome challenges and succeed academically.

Resource Management

Organise and prepare teaching materials and resources to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Tracking Student Progress

Monitor and record student progress, provide feedback to teachers, and contribute to assessment processes.

Extracurricular Activities

Participate in extracurricular activities, including clubs, workshops, and field trips, to enhance the educational experience.

What We Are Looking For:

A Graduate Degree: Preferred subjects include Maths, English, Science, Languages, Sport, and Humanities, though all disciplines are considered.

Experience Working with secondary aged students: Examples include roles such as Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Sports Coach, Youth Worker, or Support Worker.

Passion for Education: A genuine commitment to inspiring and supporting young learners.

Organisation and Reliability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Strong Communication Skills: Capability to engage and motivate students while collaborating with teachers and staff.

Team Player: Willingness to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school community.
