TeamJobs is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a thriving Legal 500 firm as the Head of Residential Property. This role offers the potential to become a key member of the firm's leadership team, with the possibility of a future board position.

The Role:

As Head of Residential Property, you will lead and develop a rapidly growing department in a modern and forward-thinking law firm with a strong regional presence across Somerset and Dorset. You will work closely with colleagues from various areas of law, helping to shape the future of the firm through strategic input and leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and driving the success of the Residential Property team.
Delivering expert legal advice in areas such as equity release, help to buy, transfers of equity, unregistered land, leaseholds, freeholds, and new builds.
Contributing to the firm's growth through business development, client retention, and relationship-building with local agents.
Ensuring team profitability and providing innovative ideas to enhance department performance.
Mentoring, training, and developing team members.The Candidate:

We are seeking a highly regarded individual with at least 5 years PQE and a strong reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Residential Property law and be an ambassador for the firm, with the ability to attract new clients and retain existing ones. A following of clients would be highly advantageous.
