Field Service Engineer

Are you a self-motivated and skilled Engineer looking for a new challenge in the water and wastewater sector? We are currently seeking a dynamic individual with hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical engineering to join our team. This role offers variety, travel, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects across the UK.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of mobile processing equipment, along with the chance to work on high-speed rotating machinery. If you have a passion for process improvement and delivering high-quality solutions, this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, operate, and maintain mobile processing equipment.

* Conduct mechanical breakdowns, workshop repairs, and on-site servicing.

* Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

* Travel across the UK to client sites, with some overnight stays required (vehicle and accommodation provided).

* Compile risk assessments and method statements, and ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations.

Skills and Experience:

* A qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, ideally with experience in process or wastewater industries.

* Flexibility to travel across the UK and work weekends or join the on-call rota when required.

* Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels.

* Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel to compile service and visit reports.

* A full UK driving licence is essential.
