Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction (Bank) at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a bank, variable-hour basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £25.30 - £39.47 per hour.

Our Construction department has been growing over the past few years and there will be a continued growth in the coming years.  The Construction team are very dynamic and creative in their approach to delivering an outstanding experience for learners wishing to pursue a career in construction.  Do you feel you would fit into this team?

Key Responsibilities of our Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction:

Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.

Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.

Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.

Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.

Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.

Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.

Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.

Participating in marketing activities and promote the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.

Our ideal Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction should have the below skills and experience:

Level 2 (or equivalent) in related subject

Level 2 literacy and numeracy

Relevant industrial/commercial/subject experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups

An understanding of teaching and assessing learners
