We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Assistant for our a social housing provider with properties across the local region.
The role will be office based, and it is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role will be to support the Asset Delivery team in meeting regulatory and safety compliance across key areas such as Fire, Asbestos, Legionella, Electrical, and Lifts.
In this role, you’ll manage compliance documentation, liaise with contractors, and ensure our records are accurate and up-to-date. Key duties include database updates, contractor coordination, and supporting various safety programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance records, collate safety program documentation, and track outstanding actions.
- Coordinate access to properties for inspections, monitoring compliance in fire, asbestos, and other areas.
- Process invoices, manage orders, and provide backup for gas administration.
Assist with general administrative duties within the Housing Management System.
Person Specification:
- Proficiency in IT and Excel, with experience updating databases.
Strong communication and attention to detail, with proven ability to work with contractors and service providers.
