Brownlee Cale are working with a Civil Engineering firm who are hiring Senior Civil Engineers in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Manage and oversee the development of detailed design solutions, calculations, and reports.
* Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the development of their skills and capabilities.
* Attend project meetings, providing expert advice and recommendations to the project team and clients.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural engineering designs into larger project frameworks.
* Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects, providing technical expertise and input.
* Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained throughout all stages of project delivery.
Skills & Experience:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent).
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it (e.g., through the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers).
* A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and building projects.
