We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer based in Rushden to join to one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are well-established with over 20 years’ experience in the cutting machinery industry.

Responsibilities of the Multiskilled Engineer

Fault finding and reactive maintenance.
Assist in building cutting machines.
Reading Electrical drawings.
70% Electrical 30% Mechanical.
Repair and rebuild older cutting machines. 
Work on and repair new machines.
Assembly/Fitting.
Requirements for a successful Multiskilled Engineer

Minimum 2 years of Maintenance Engineering experience.
Electrical bias with a strong understanding of electrical circuitry.
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
Bench fitting, machining and fabrication experience.
Conversant with hydraulic and mechanical equipment. 
Good communication skills.
Summary of the Multiskilled Engineer role

Salary: £35,000 per annum plus overtime
Location: Rushden
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 11:00am
