We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer for a project near Glasgow, Scotland.

Job Details:

* Over seeing of technical aspects of the project

* Plan and organise the setting out work efficiently ready for site operations

* Check drawings, quantities and schedules to ascertain correct setting out parameters

* Liaising with Site teams to complete works

* Resolve any unexpected technical setting out discrepancies, difficulties and issues that may arise during the construction process

You will be working on behalf of Wick Hollow Limited for our client who is a specialist contractor.

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £350 – £400 per shift – Negotiable depending on experience

Weekly based upon a signed timesheet

.

You will need to:

* Proven experince in Bridge Construction / precast concrete

* Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering/ Surveying or related discipline

* Be able to use CAD and related software (and similar packages)

* Candidates will have a strong background in surveying, civil works, preparation of technical specifications and reports and in the planning, supervision and interpretation of construction

* Proficient in the use of GPS and Total Station Instruments

* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

* Analytical thinking

* A professional approach

* Be reliable and punctual

* Have proof of right to work in the UK
