Food Technology Teacher

Start date: January 2025               

Location: Alternative provision, Chesterfield.

Daily Rate: £150 - £230

About the role: PK Education are looking to recruit an outstanding Food Technology Teacher who has previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs.

We are looking for someone who has experience of appropriate management techniques for young pupils with SEND, SEMH, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour.

You will deliver the schools personalised curriculum that is adapted to suit the pupils needs within a safe and structured environment. You will be supported by the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team.

Our ideal candidate will be calm and understanding, patient and be able to communicate with students aged 11-16 who have educational health care plans.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the update service.
Experience in teaching Food Technology.
Must drive with access to a car with business insurance.
Confident in working with SEND and SEMH children.
