We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for a EDI Analyst to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT.

Role: EDI Analyst

Rate: Up to £400 per day (inside IR35)

Location: Birmingham

Style: Hybrid

Duration: 6 months (initially – view to extend)

Key Responsibilities:

* Support with EDI Onboaring for various vendors against existing/new flows

* Testing and debugging of the system

* Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback

* Robust understanding of EDI formats like EDIFACT and VDA and ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV and INVOIC EDI message types to support with the flows

* Meeting/call with client/vendors to discuss their data interchange needs.

Key Skills:

* Must have written EDI translation maps used any EDI solution such as BizManager, BizTalk, Seeburger, Gentran, Sterling commerce etc.

* Testing and debugging experience

* Handling 3rd party EDI provider

* Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback.

* Deploying completed setups and providing maintenance support.

* Supporting technical queries of Vendors

Experience required:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.

* A minimum of 3+ years' experience as an EDI analyst.

* Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to project manage and work with large teams

* Functional and technical knowledge of EDI formats like EDIFACT and VDA and ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV and INVOIC EDI message types

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience with end-user training.
