A Homologation Manager is required to join a company who operate at the heart of the automotive industry in the UK. The Homologation Manager will lead as a technical specialist on Type Approval / Homologation, representing the company both in the UK and Europe, providing advice and support to senior management on projects as required.

As Homologation / Type Approval Manager - you will be required to

Provide influential expertise on core dossiers and lead related regulatory work at UK and EU level, supporting departmental objectives and services
To liaise and consult with member companies, government and key stakeholder on all relevant subjects and documents, to solicit member input to create an evidence base and draft influential proposals, positions, responses, papers and presentations as required
To represent UK views at meetings of relevant industry, governmental and standardisation organisations in the UK, EU and globally
To provide regular technical information and support for members, colleagues and relevant committees
To deal with technical and legislative enquiries from industry and outside organisations
To apply for this Homologation / Type Approval Manager, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

Degree qualified or equivalent with proven experience in Type Approval / Homologation
Good knowledge of the global regulatory framework for motor vehicles, experience in technical legislation and processes and awareness of current automotive issues
Highly motivated team player with the drive and ability to lead across diverse teams, projects and issues, excellent communicator and able to adapt to relevant context and audience
Good project management and organisational skills. Ability to multi-task and organise work effectively on different projects and issues
Willingness to undertake occasional travel, both in the UK and internationally, mainly within Europe, to attend meetings and conferences
