SmartPro are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic client near to the Hendy/Pontardulais area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to fabricate and assemble stainless-steel pipework with precision.

Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless-steel pipework, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- Fabricate metal components according to specifications, using both hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble parts and structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Must be able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes.
- Experience with stainless-steel, ideally experienced with thin wall 1.6mm - 5mm stainless tube and plate.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in welding and fabrication.
- Ability to fabricate components from raw materials while adhering to safety standards.
