Growing business based in the Knutsford area requires a Management Accountant. Reporting to the CEO, this is a newly created role within a group of businesses that is growing fast. You will facilitate and support the business owners in day-to-day finance tasks, as well as assisting with a variety of aspects contributing to the month end process. There are 2 businesses that are contained within the group. This role needs a self-starter and someone who is confident in their ability as this role is a standalone finance role, working with external accountants.

Duties will include:

* Assisting the business owners and external accountants with the month end reconciliation processes

* Producing month end reports

* Produce and develop various weekly / daily internal control reports; gaining full responsibility of the maintenance of the groups fixed assets registers, including monthly reconciliation and posting of depreciation journals.

* Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger when needed

* To produce and circulate internal and external reports to the required deadlines as/when needed.

* To undertake ad hoc financial reporting as required.

* Supporting the business owners and external accountants with year-end accounting.

* Producing reports to present to senior management

* Maintain systems to ensure quality and accuracy of information being recorded and/or presented.

The right candidate for this role will be someone who is maybe QBE/Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA and is looking for a role in an SME that will offer growth as the business grows.

This role would suit someone who is looking to work around school/other commitments. This role is office based in Knutsford
