Health & Safety - Wirral

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to promote a safe working environment for our client at their head office in the Wirral area. The successful candidate will act as a trusted H&S advisor to the client, conducting robust inspections across all estates and facilities and adopting a culture for learning through corrective action planning.

Responsibilities:

To advise on all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing issues as they pertain to all operations.

To encourage and implement the continual development and improvement of a pro-active health and safety culture.

Develop, promote, monitor and review health and safety policies, procedures and safe systems.

To develop and complete ongoing audit and inspections to ensure compliance with internal, statutory and professional requirements.

Investigate and report on accidents, incidents and near misses ensuring full compliance with RIDDOR reporting.

Complete accident investigation on sites when required, record, and liaise with any external investigating agencies as required.

Ensure routine health and safety activities and checks are carried out, e.g. the review of risk assessments, carry out fire inspections and drills.
