Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Are you a recent graduate seeking a new start in education? GSL Education Kent are  seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in Dover on a temporary to permanent basis, starting immediately. This full-time role provides the chance to work in a supportive educational environment, helping to maintain high standards of learning.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of teachers, ensuring a structured learning environment.

Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain student engagement.

Uphold the school’s behaviour policies and create a positive classroom atmosphere.

Support students in their learning, clarifying instructions and responding to queries.

Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student participation and conduct.

Contribute to the school’s inclusive and supportive ethos.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role is desirable.

Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach to working in a school setting.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
