Key Responsibilities:

* Handling a broad range of private client matters, including tax, trusts, and probate.

* Leading and mentoring a team, helping to drive growth and success within the department.

* Taking an active role in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base.

* Managing a caseload efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met with precision.

* Providing commercially sound legal advice while delivering excellent client service.

The Ideal Candidate:

* 8+ years PQE with significant experience in private client law.

* Strong technical expertise in tax, trusts, and probate matters.

* Proven leadership skills or the ambition to step into a Head of Department role.

* Business development experience and commercial acumen.

* Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.

* A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

* STEP qualification preferred but not essential.

* A client following would be advantageous but not a requirement.

* The ability to travel between offices (a driving licence would be beneficial).
