We have a position with a contractor with over 30 years of industry presence within the Architectural Metalwork, Balustrades, Staircases, Cladding, Structural steelwork and Fabrication sector. They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who would like to go in to Commercial Management or a Commercial Manager for their team.

The Commercial Manager

Must have at least 10 years’ industry knowledge and experience

Experience within quantity surveying

Knowledge of Architectural Metalwork, Balustrades, Staircases, Cladding, Structural steelwork, Fabrication

Must have worked with main contractors, architects and suppliers

The Commercial Manager will have strong commercial acumen

Project ranges from £500,000 to £20million

Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management or equivalent construction related qualification.

10 years' experience working in major building and MEP works.

Proficient in managing NEC3 contracts and a strong understanding of UK contract law.

Experienced in self-delivery of projects from pricing and award, through to final accounts.

Proven ability to manage large teams, with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail, capable of identifying and mitigating potential project risks.

Flexible, hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment, with a 'can do' attitude.
