Respected organisation that operates in the lightning protection and earthing segment of the electrical engineering industry requires a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Manager on a permanent basis.

The Design Manager, will be responsible for overseeing a team of Design Engineers and Technicians, including design review and approval.

Duties:

* Lead and develop the engineering team, based in Nottingham and Dubai

* Report to the senior leadership team

* Help business growth by contributing to strategy meetings

* Make sure the team adheres to engineering legislation, standards and client requirements

* Ensure adherence to SHEQ and CDM regulations

* Mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

* Experience as a Design Manager, Design Supervisor or Design Team Leader, preferably within the electrical engineering sector (LV / building services / M&E, HV, power, ICP / new connections)

* Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with the required organisational and leadership skills to progress into a Design Manager position

* Understanding of electrical engineering and electrical networks, LV, 11kV, 33kV, 132kV

* Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

* Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

* UK driving licence
