Job Title: CNC Miller

Location: Peterborough

Benefits: Parking on site, 3 days off for Xmas (which isn't taken from holiday), on site canteen.

Working for a British Engineering company making bespoke manufacturing and processing equipment.

Role Overview:

As a CNC Miller you will manufacture parts following drawings, that are used in the assembly shop or with customers direct orders.

This is not a closed shop.

Role Responsibilities:

You will handle both manual and CNC milling machines.
You will conduct self-inspections of produced parts.
You will adhere to the defined schedule.
Work within the planned timeframes.
Keep the work area safe and tidy.
Understand and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any relevant information to management.

Required Skills:

Attention to Quality.
Able to work night shifts and open to working overtime as needed.
High self-motivation.
Fully versed in Milling experience.
Interpret engineering drawings.
Teamwork is an essential.
Flexibility with tasks.Desired Skills:

Lean and 5s experience.
Haas experience will be preferred but not essential.
Offer improvement ideas.
Recognised engineering apprenticeships.Experience:

Haas machines (not essential)

Depending on experience and depends on apprenticeship.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 04.15pm

Friday 7.00am - 12.00pm

40 Hour week
