Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
1. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs and abilities.
3. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting tutoring strategies as necessary.
5. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other relevant qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
- Experience with assessment and evaluation of SEN students
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work may involve travel to different locations within Berkshire
- Collaborative work environment with other educators and professionals in the field

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
