A well-established manufacturing organisation is looking for a Production Scheduler/Planner to join their team in Cardiff. This role is ideal for ex-military personnel, particularly those with experience in supply chain management, logistics coordination, or operations planning. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time product delivery.
Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams to optimise workflows.
Monitor production processes, identify potential bottlenecks, and make real-time schedule adjustments.
Analyse production data to drive continuous improvement and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of schedules, inventory levels, and production documentation.
Provide regular updates on production status, identifying challenges and proposing solutions. What We’re Looking For:
Experience in logistics, planning, or operations management – military or civilian.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret data and optimise schedules.
Organised and disciplined approach to workload management.
Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively across departments.
