First Choice Staff are actively seeking an experienced Air freight operations clerk.

Our client specialises in the transportation of hazardous goods and time sensitive critical shipments both domestically and internationally.

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 pending experience.

Shift: Monday - Friday , 08:00 - 17:00

The successful applicant:

· Knowledge of Airfreight Operations with a Freight Forwarder (+2 yrs.)

· DG and ADR accredited would be an advantage.

· Computer literacy MS Word, MS Excel and Gmail.

· Good communication skills

· Attention to detail and being able to work independently as well as working within a team environment.

· Car licence is preferred.

Duties will include:

· Managing agents and customers directly.

· Liaising with customers for every aspect of their shipment.

· Finding solutions by Air, Road & Sea for highly regulated shipments.

· Making export airline bookings with airlines.

· Tracking shipments and providing updates.

· Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.

· Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing, and other tasks from time to time
