Working for an exciting, expanding and successful company, this is an opportunity for a field based sales manager. You will ideally be experienced in supplying instrumentation based products into technical sectors such as chemical (fine, agrochemical etc), pharmaceutical and biotech as well as research and academic markets.
Responsibilities will include;
* Developing and managing sales territories
* Managing existing clients
* Identifying and seeking new business opportunities
* Attending exhibitions, conference and networking events
* Product demonstrations and training
You are likely to have relevant science, chemistry or chemical engineering qualifications (eg Degree Level or equivalent) and have a proven track record within sales to professional chemists or users or laboratory equipment. Highly organised with the ability to gather, manage and analyse data, you will have excellent planning skills. With great communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels this is a great opportunity for a tenacious and motivated sales person, looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to succeed. Experience of selling to sectors within pharma, research, chemical manufacturing, Biotech or similar is essential.
This role will be covering the North, Scotland and Northern Ireland so you will need to be situated in the north-east, borders or southern Scotland to enable easy access to your territories. An attractive package including salary, car, commission plus pension and usual benefits is available.
