We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to become a key part of our team, working closely with teachers and students to support learning in the classroom.
The Role:
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside subject teachers to support students’ learning across various subjects. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one and group support, and helping students to achieve their academic goals. You will also play a crucial role in supporting students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the best chance to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across multiple subjects.
Provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs (e.g. SEND).
Support individual students or small groups with specific learning tasks or difficulties.
Help maintain an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
Encourage and promote independence, resilience, and positive behaviour among students.

Requirements:
Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Essential).
Experience working with secondary school-aged students (Desirable).
Experience supporting students with additional needs (e.g. SEND, behavioural challenges) (Desirable).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
A flexible, proactive, and compassionate approach to working in an educational environment.
A genuine interest in supporting the learning and development of secondary school students.
