Requirements:

Qualifications Required

· Degree, Diploma, HNC in an Engineering discipline (Desirable)

· Technical qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential)

· Membership of relevant professional technical body with chartership (Desirable or willingness to work towards)

· Must come from a technical background

A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Engineering Manager working on a commercial contract based in Battersea. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add an experienced Engineering Manager to their team.

About the role:

We are looking to take on board a strong Engineering Manager to look after an Iconic site in Battersea. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering team including technical supervisor and 20engineers with P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities:

· You will manage a team of 20 including a Technical Supervisor and M&E Engineers

· P&L accountability of up to £950k

· Manage all technical issues.

· Manage agreed KPI and SLA's.

· Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site.

· Plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client project works.

· Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site.

· Recruitment of any new staff required on sites.

· Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.

· Management of client relationships on a daily basis.

· Management of all reports.

· Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.

· Responsible for the permit system.

· Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:

· Strong technical engineering understanding.

Candidate requirements:

· The ideal candidate is client facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer)

· Experienced Manager within FM - Technical Services

· Experienced in managing P&L

· People Management, Good Leader

· Technical Background M&E
