We're looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and spearhead growth across the South of England, including London and Greater London. About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth by building relationships with Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), generating leads, and managing accounts through the sales pipeline. You'll be responsible for everything from lead generation to nurturing post-sale growth, ensuring the development of key accounts and new business within your region. Your territory will cover everywhere south of Birmingham, offering an exciting landscape of opportunities to grow and succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

* Own and Drive Sales: Take charge of all sales activities in your region, consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets.

* Collaborate for Success: Work closely with account managers to ensure seamless integration of efforts and drive regional growth.

* Strategize for Growth: Develop and execute a robust contact strategy with IFA firms, building and maintaining strong, productive relationships.

* Spot Opportunities: Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop a follow-up plan for key targets.

* Be the Go-To Expert: Deliver compelling business presentations, seminars, and technical training to showcase the value of our solutions.

* Stay Organised: Keep detailed records of key business relationships and new opportunities, ensuring our CRM system is always up to date.

* Onboarding Success: Oversee the successful onboarding of new firms, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing relationship management.

* Solve Challenges: Address any issues or roadblocks as they arise, ensuring client satisfaction and business continuity.

What You Bring to the Table

* Proven Sales Achiever: Over 6 years of demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

* Motivated Self-Starter: You're proactive, driven, and always looking for the next opportunity.

* IFA Sales Expertise: Extensive experience in sales to IFAs, with a strong understanding of their needs and how to meet them.

* Well-Connected: A strong network of adviser firms and deep relationships in the financial services industry.

* Financial & Investment Savvy: Financial services experience is essential, particularly in investment management (MPS or Multi-Asset solutions preferred).

* Outstanding Communicator: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.

* Sharp Thinker: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems and make strategic decisions.

* Organised and Efficient: Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities and priorities.

* Technical Know-How: Knowledgeable in relevant technical aspects, with experience in CRM systems.

* Desirable Qualifications: Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent is highly desirable
