Our client based in Burton on Trent is now seeking a CNC Operator/Setter/Manual Machinist to join their longstanding small family team. This professional organisation has gained a reputation for the highest standards, so you would be making a great move.

Responsibilities include:

* Setting and operating Lathes and Milling machines

* Machining bespoke automotive parts to a high tolerance

* Working to technical drawings

The following attributes are vital:

* Great written and verbal skills

* Knowledge and use of common ‘machine shop’ equipment

* Solid mechanical and engineering knowledge

* Read and understand engineering drawings

* Select tooling

* Setting and operating CNC Lates and Millers

* Ability to read technical drawings essential and work in imperial units

These are desirable:

* Experience of Haas CNC Lathes & Millers

* CNC programming knowledge an advantage

* Effective skills in planning and organising
