Your Mission: Commercial Excellence This is your chance to shape pre and post-contract commercials for a major Power sector client. Your mission? Steer the ship and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure we manage risks, costs, and profitability across our diverse portfolio of projects.

Your Day-to-Day:

* Partnerships: Build strong ties with internal stakeholders – Operation Project Managers, Legal experts, Procurement specialists, Finance experts, and the Major Projects Team.

* Commercial Management: Own the commercial game for projects ranging from >£5m to £80m TCV. Collaborate closely with Project Managers for success.

* Project Review: Provide insights on commercial aspects, tackle challenges, and keep project costs in check.

* Value Optimisation: Optimise project costs without sacrificing efficiency through value engineering.

About You:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on projects (£5m+).

* Track record of handling power projects in the UK.

* Knowledge of standard form contracts – NEC/JCT/FIDIC.

* Skills in financial control, mastering cost control, and other crucial processes.

* Familiarity with dispute resolution processes.
