JOB – Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION – Hampshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY - £40,000 - £48,000, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Hampshire on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
Come from a Mechanical background
Knowledge of Electrical equipment and installations
Ideally be experienced working with plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas, Energy or related industries  
Able to work safely and methodically
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work 

The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery
Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
PPM and breakdown avoidance
Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
Working with others and being an excellent team player
