Accounts Assistant

Temp to Perm

We are working with our client who are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join them on a temp to perm basis. (Immediate start available).

The role :

* Checking purchase invoices that have been entered on to Sage 50 Accounts

* Logging payments for GBP, USD and Euro currencies from bank accounts on a monthly basis

* Monthly bank reconciliations including foreign accounts for approximately 10 accounts

* Completion of Insurance declarations on a monthly/yearly basis

* Sharing responsibility for sales invoicing

* Sharing responsibility for passing haulage invoices for payment

* Filing of invoices, statements and other paperwork

Requirements:

* Strong IT, maths, and written/verbal communication skills

* Previous PL, SL or accounts experience would be desirable

* Use of and good understanding of Sage Accounts packages desirable

* Willingness to take on new tasks and learn

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload

* The ability to work under pressure

* Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
