The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with excellent analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail. As an accountant at KPP, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. There is a route to partnership with this role for the right person.
Responsibilities:
* Full accounts preparation
* Complete VAT and Corporate Tax returns
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
* Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
* Perform month-end and year-end close processes
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
* Assist with audits and tax filings
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* Practice experience is beneficial
* Experience in Ltd Companies, Sole Traders and Partnership
* CPA certification preferred
* 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g Xero)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and accuracy
